As a member of the LGBTQ+ community and a survivor of conversion therapy, Tres faced challenges that would break many. His resilience was tested even further when he was fired from a prior counseling position because of his sexual orientation — a story so compelling it won an Emmy when covered by the local news. However, Tres turned adversity into action, leading to the establishment of Prism Counseling, a sanctuary of empowering and affirming support for adults, teens, couples, and particularly LGBTQ+ individuals.

Our targeted fundraising sum is $5,000 — a crucial figure in our mission's continuity.
